Our products are made from carefully selected materials with a focus on quality, durability and function. Our leather products are made from vegetable tanned cowhide and reindeer leather, where possible we use leather waste to minimize waste. We only use materials of Swedish origin and support Swedish tanneries to ensure animal welfare, good working conditions and support local production.

We produce our products in Malmö to ensure high quality, responsible production and a shorter supply chain. All our leather products are handmade.

Here's how to best care for your Cavito leather products:

Cleaning

• Wipe the leather with a dry or slightly damp cloth to remove dust and dirt.

• For deeper cleaning, use a mild soap solution (e.g. saddle soap or leather cleaner) and a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid excessive moisture, as water can dry out the leather.

• Let the product air dry at room temperature – avoid direct sunlight and heat sources such as radiators.

Moisturizing & care

• Leather needs to be moisturized regularly to maintain its softness and resilience. Apply a thin layer of leather conditioner or natural leather oil (e.g. beeswax-based products) with a soft cloth.

• Massage the conditioner in circular motions and allow it to absorb before wiping away excess oil.

• You can restore shine by brushing the product with a soft and clean brush.

• Always test the product on a small area first, as some conditioners can change the color of the leather.

Avoid this

• Exposure to direct sunlight for long periods of time can dry out and fade the leather.

• Do not store leather products in plastic bags or airtight containers – leather needs to breathe.

• Avoid harsh cleaners, alcohol, perfumed wipes and oil-based skin creams that can affect the leather's surface.

Storage

• Store bags and accessories in a dry place, preferably in a cloth bag or a protective case.

• If the product is not used for a long time, fill it with tissue paper or a soft piece of cloth to maintain its shape.

What do I do if my leather product gets wet?

• Wipe it gently with a dry cloth.

• Let it air dry at room temperature – never with a hair dryer, on a radiator or in direct sunlight.

• Once dry, apply leather conditioner to moisturize and protect the surface.

• You should avoid getting the product wet as this may change its appearance.

The delivery time depends on whether the product is in stock or made to order.

In-stock products are normally shipped within 24 hours and delivered with PostNord within 2–5 business days.

Products that are made to order have a manufacturing time of 1-2 weeks, after which they are delivered as above.

We make everything by hand with care and therefore it may take a little longer, but we promise it is worth the wait.

Currently we only deliver within Sweden.
